Illegal Drivers

From 1st January 2008 a new Rule of Golf will be introduced limiting the use of Driving Clubs. This will mean certain Driving Clubs will become illegal in ALL Competitions. Please remember that the onus is not on the club to ensure your driver is illegal but it is the responsibility of each player to do so.  A list of conforming and non – conforming clubs is available on the R & A website www.randa.org  If you are having trouble confirming if your Driving Club will conform from 2008 please contact any Golf Shop or any member of the Competitions Committee.
